The first spam email was sent on May 01 1978 by a DEC marketing representative to every ARPANET address on the west coast of the United States. And so it began..I was 13 and I was just learning about computers and the Minnesota Educational Computer Consortium…..that was sooo cool. Oregon Trail….goofy old turnbased Star Trek…..on a old teletype….you would dial the 800 number, listen for the tones, then put the phone handset into the modem…….put the phone in the modem….we’ve come a long way…..

Ed Roman Guitars February 2, 2006

I just gotta put a link up for this. Ed Roman is a guitar builder/seller in Las Vegas. If yer like me and can kill time drooling over guitars, then get ready to drool. This guy has got it all and then some. If you got a favorite axe, I defy you to find one here. Best of all, Ed is all about the little guy, he’s got several rants on his page about corporate music stores. I emailed a couple questions and got an actual response. Since I live 90+ miles on the otherside of BFEgypt in MN, maybe buying a guitar online is could work out.
Check it out.

While I was scoping out the bootable USB stuff I found this website, everythingusb.com and they specialize in all that is USB. This is a link to their software page. Pretty cool. Take all your data and personal applications with you and use them on any USB PC and leave no data behind. Best of all some are even FREE! Check ‘em out! I think VLC, a media player/streamer is especially cool. It can handle ANY file, from mp3 to DVD and divix. Thumbs up!
